A small Bakery with a few seats outside. You have to be quick to get a seat.

It's worth it. It's my Summer go to place to get 'snacks' before I saunter into Hampstead Heath and disappear for the afternoon.

The food smells amazing, the staff are friendly. It does get a bit hectic on the weekend with queues. If you're happy to wait, I promise you, you won't be disappointed.

I used to love Euphorium. Then, yesterday, hungry from the heat and a swim, I trekked back to over to my favourite bakery- only be to catastrophically disappointed. My friend and I ordered two pain a chocolate- a Euphorium classic- but on first bite was met with RAW DOUGH mingling with the chocolat. I cannot even begin to express my disgust. I felt convulsed, felt sick to stomach, but most of all I was supremely disappointed. I can never return. The one thing any bakery should be able to AT LEAST COOK is a croissant. Euphorium fails at even this. And for £2.25 at that. A price far too high for failure.

This is an extremely attractive bakery/cafe right on the southern corner of Hampstead Heath. It has huge windows, is beautifully painted in white and pastels and has a wide selection of cakes, pastries and bread as well as of course coffee and tea. I stopped here for an apple crumble cake and coffee as well as a baguette after a hike through the park. The cafe seating area was extremely crowded so I had to take my order to go. The pastry was fine but nothing too memorable. The coffee lacked any sort of flavour. The baguette was hard as a rock. You could use it as a hammer. I'd not discovered this until I'd arrived at home. Suffice to say it was disappointing given the overall charming nature of the cafe. I dare say in may give it another try, but polly's just up the street is such an earnest little mom and pop, cafe.

Plus sides: good location, nice and bright, wifi.

Down sides: coffee isn't very good (weak and flavourless), not very comfy seating, cash only, very expensive.

Good place to stay, relax, read the newspaper and have a better coffee. Tomorrow is Free coffee Friday and they are going to give one coffee for free to all customers from 7:30am to 14pm.
